Current Available Position – Social Worker

NEWLY CREATED OPPORTUNITY

Our law firm prides itself on the personal service and attention we give our clients and believe that is what makes us so successful in the core pursuit of giving our clients the service and compensation they deserve. We express that purpose in our firm brand “You Deserve More”. And we bring that concept both internally to our staff and externally to our clients.

We are now seeking to build that service further by engaging an enthusiastic and motivated social worker to join our dynamic and supportive team.   The role entails providing care for our clients who may be suffering from disorders or illnesses that have resulted from a personal injury or illness.  We are seeking to introduce a social work service so our clients can benefit from improving their wellbeing while their legal matters are being resolved.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate on all levels;
  • The ability to work within teams and in singular situations;
  • Experience in mental health or an internal hospital social work role; and
  • The ability to deliver high-quality client care.

Any experience around trauma and the long term impact of serious injury and illness and how this impacts on a person’s life is of benefit to our law firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social worker who is seeking to become an integral part of a specialist personal injury law firm.

Our team at Henry Carus & Associates prides itself on the family life balance we provide all employees, and appreciates the juggle of work life and family responsibilities. Part time opportunities are therefore available for those seeking to obtain a shorter work week.

We are lucky to work in such a multi-cultural professional services sector. Therefore a second language is a wonderful advantage to have for this role, but it is not essential. All levels of skills and experience will be considered.

Salary will be commensurate on experience.
