Darren joined Henry Carus + Associates in November 2017, shortly after completing his Bachelor of Laws/ Bachelor of Arts degree at Deakin University.

Whilst Darren was undergoing his studies, he worked as a volunteer Paralegal for Social Security Rights Victoria, where he helped assist several people with disabilities gain access to social security benefits.

This inspired Darren to start a legal career in personal injury law, to help vulnerable members of the community gain access to justice.

Whilst working as a Paralegal under the tutelage of Principal, Henry Carus, and Senior Associate, Jessica King, Darren gained extensive experience in all aspects of personal injury litigation.

Now as one of the Associates of our firm, Darren manages a combination of WorkCover, TAC, and Public Liability matters.

Darren prides himself on clear and effective communication and explaining complex legal matters in a simple and straightforward manner.

He is passionate and determined about ensuring that our clients achieve the most optimal outcome.

Outside of work, Darren can be found competing on both the cricket pitch and the soccer field, and barracking for his beloved Essendon Football Club.
