Eliza Tan

Eliza Tan is an Australian qualified lawyer, having obtained an Arts/ Law degrees from the University of Melbourne graduating with Honours.

The analytical challenges and her passion in helping people led her to choose law as a career that allows her to make a difference.

Eliza speaks fluent Indonesian, Chinese Mandarin, Hokkien, and English and has worked in law firms in both Singapore and Melbourne.

Being born in Indonesia as an ethnic Chinese and having lived and worked in both Singapore and Melbourne, Eliza understands both Indonesian and Chinese culture and provides valuable assistance to Indonesians who do not understand the Australian legal system fully or who do not speak the English language.

Ever since the completion of her degrees, she has specialized in personal injury litigation. Having acted for both claimants as well as major insurance companies, she has gained a unique insight into compensation claims.

It is the tremendous sense of gratification in getting affected clients and their families the compensation that they deserve, that keeps her coming back to personal injury practice.

She is well-liked by her clients for going the extra mile. Her clients praise her eye to detail, dedication, and meticulous preparation of cases so they stand the best possible chance of success.

Outside of work she volunteers with Animals Australia and is a keen salsa dancer.
