The Story about this TAC Claim

Greg was a lovely gentleman whose primary mode of transport was his scooter. Sadly, in 2013 Greg was seriously injured in an accident when he was struck by a car who failed to give way at an intersection while riding his scooter. Greg suffered serious injuries to various parts of his body, which significantly impacted upon his life. We assisted Greg through the TAC claim process and achieved a fantastic outcome to compensate him for his injuries. Shortly after his lump sum compensation was paid the TAC decided to stop funding the home help services he had been receiving on an ongoing basis.

We are currently in the process of challenging the decision through VCAT, and we are confident that Greg’s home help services will be reinstated in the near future. We regularly act on behalf of our clients to challenge decisions made by the TAC, even after their lump sum compensation claim has been finalised.
