The Story about this TAC Claim
Jacqueline came to us on the word of a trusted family member. She had been injured years before when she fell on a tram that took off suddenly while she was trying to touch on her Myki. We investigated her claim and medical history and advised her that we thought she had a strong claim for compensation.
TAC had a different opinion than us, and it was not until we issued proceedings in court, and attended a pre-hearing conference that they came around to agree with us. Once this was sorted, we were able to settle Jacqueline’s claim quickly and easily. Here is what Jacqueline had to say about her experience:
Actual Client Testimonial.
My husband and I met with Michael Constable of Henry Carus + Associates in their offices in August 2017, having been recommended to me by cousin, whose opinion I value.
I told him my history as follows:
I fell on my back on a tram in Melbourne in 2015, and it took 2 weeks for doctors to diagnose that my pelvis had been fractured. It took months for this to heal. This is now healed but I will never be the same, I need to walk with a stick and have pain in my left hip, can only walk short distances and have constant backache.
When I rang TAC and informed them of the accident, they told me not to bother making a formal complaint as TAC never paid compensation.
However, with the help of Henry Carus I am going to receive compensation payment in the near future.
I thank Michael Constable and other Henry Carus staff members for their assistance in my case as so much time had passed since the accident. They referred me to medical professionals, etc and helped me through the process.
I am very grateful for their help and support and successful outcome.
