Judith came to Henry Carus for advice after a fall at work. Prior to the fall Judith worked with people with disabilities. On the day of her accident Judith had been on an outing with a client when they had a seizure and collapsed, landing on Judith and causing her injury. What made Judith’s claim different was that her injuries started out minor but developed over time to be very serious and complicated. The insurer for the claim would not accept the extent of Judith’s injuries and her increasing disability. With great persistence we were able to prove to the insurer the extent of her initial injuries and those that developed over time. Finally the insurer accepted responsibility for Judith’s injuries.
