Struan Jansen
A talented and compassionate lawyer, Struan holds a Bachelor of Science (with First Class Honours) and a Juris Doctor (Distinction). His academic background in both science and law reflects a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to problem-solving – skills he brings into every matter he handles.
Struan has also volunteered with the Disability Discrimination Legal Service, a state-wide community legal centre offering free assistance in disability discrimination matters. This work deepened his commitment to supporting people living with injury or disability, aligning closely with his role in personal injury law. Whether he’s helping a client navigate complex legal processes or advocating for fair outcomes, Struan is motivated by a genuine desire to make a difference during what can be some of the most challenging moments in people’s lives.
In addition to his legal work, Struan recently joined the board of Kevin Heinze Grow, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to therapeutic gardening programs for people with disabilities — another example of Struan’s deep commitment to inclusive, community-based support.
Outside the office, Struan is a keen sports enthusiast. Hailing from South Africa, he proudly supports the Springboks and the national cricket team. Closer to home, he finds joy in gardening and hiking on the weekends—activities that keep him grounded and energised.
